PLAYER SALARY INFORMATION

As part of the free agency system under the CBA, players and teams have full access to player contract salary information so that the free agency market can be conducted on a level playing field for all concerned. The league sends the AFLPA updated information for new contracts weekly, and that information is available on aflplayers.org. The information is intended to be available to players, player agents, and teams (if teams wish to check information provided to them by players or agents), and not to the general public. Accordingly, access is limited through a password that each AFLPA player representative will provide in accordance with these rules.

In reviewing these data, keep in mind that there is no practical way to summarize the different performance bonus provisions that AFL players and teams have agreed upon, and that these provisions can have a substantial impact on the amount of money a player may earn.
